quezty privacy policy
Updated 28 August 2026.
quezty is a solo text RPG for iPhone. It asks for no account, no sign-up, no email and has no login. This page says what leaves your device, where it goes and what happens to it.
What stays on your device
Your adventures, your characters, the history of your sessions and your preferences are kept on the iPhone itself, in the app's private area. None of it is sent to us, and we have no way to read it.
Deleting the app deletes that data with it, because it was never anywhere else.
What is sent, and why
For the master to narrate, the text of the turn has to reach the language model. It is the only thing that leaves the device while you play, and it leaves because without it there is no narration.
What travels is the text the scene needs: what you wrote, the recent stretch of the story and the state of the world the engine calculated. The route is the quezty server, which acts as a bridge to the Google Gemini API.
The quezty server is a bridge, not an archive: it forwards the request, returns the answer and does not keep your adventure, your character or the text of the turn. The only numbers it records are aggregate usage counts, with no content, used to control cost.
Google's handling of the text is governed by the terms of the paid Gemini API, under which the content sent is not used to train models. Google's terms are at ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.
Motion
The accelerometer is read for one reason only: to let you roll the die by shaking the device, and to make the die tremble on screen while it waits for your hand. That reading happens only while a roll is open, never leaves the iPhone and is never stored.
It is optional. With the permission denied, or the option switched off in settings, the game works in full and the die is rolled with a tap.
quezty does not use location.
Membership and payment
Memberships are sold and charged by Apple, inside the App Store. quezty does not receive, see or keep payment data: cardholder name, card number and billing address never pass through us. The app asks Apple one thing only, whether this account has an active membership, and the answer is yes or no.
Children
quezty is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children. Since there is no sign-up, the app neither asks for nor stores a name, an age, an address or any data that identifies who is playing.
Advertising and tracking
There are no ads, no third-party trackers, no advertising identifier, and nothing is sold or shared with data brokers.
Your rights
Because the app keeps no personal data on any server, there is no record on our side to access, correct or delete. The game data is yours and it is on your device: deleting the app removes it completely. If you have any question about this, just write.
Changes to this page
If anything here changes, the date at the top changes with it, and the previous version stops applying from the moment the new one is published.
